Dianthus barbatus (Sweet William)

Most people will recognize this flower as one the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton chose to include in her wedding bouquet, which was fitting because its meaning is gallantry.

Dianthus barbatus (Sweet William) is a native of the mountains of southern Europe. The individual flowers (around an inch (2–3 cm) in diameter.
